Our broadband inverter is a transformer with a 1:1 ratio which provides
a signal with 180° shift compared to the input. In other words, the output
signal is the exact negative image of the input signal. Compared to
active electronic devices, our transformer can convert signals of very
high amplitude and it does not require any power supply because it is
fully passive. Due to its very low frequency limit of 200 Hz, rectangular
signals are much less distorted than competitive products. The noise is
very low and the dynamic is extremely high. Special care has been
taken concerning the shielding effectiveness of the device which
enables measurement in highly disturbed environment such as field of
500 kV/m (MIL-Std 461G / RS105). Typical applications are: analogue
signal processing, balun design, laboratory measurement in a disturbed
environment.
